Nature's Beauty

I don't know about you but I have never seen this before. It is 1:30pm here in WA State and 70 degrees and sunny. I just looked up in the sky and saw this beautiful sight. I have never seen the clouds do this before. Maybe it's just me but I thought it was pretty enough to get out the camera and see if I could capture it.

Custom Orders Welcome

I love doing custom orders for people. This is my latest. A wonderful woman, MizDarlin on Etsy asked me to make her a pair of fingerless gloves out of a non-wool yarn. After some searching around I found some lightweight self-striping yarn in acrylic and made her these gloves. They are nice and light and reach to the elbow. One of these days I may even get a pair made for me. LOL I have to thank MizDarlin for being such a great, patient customer. She was wonderful to work with. Well it is that time of year again. Independence Day is right around the corner. The Race to 500

The race to 500 is on. What's this you ask? I am trying to reach a total of 500 sales in my Etsy shop. I'm Back!!!

Well, it has taken me awhile but I am back. I don't really know where I've been since I haven't been doing a whole lot lately. LOL We have had some gorgeous weather so being online has taken a back seat these days. I have been doing a lot of knitting and sewing. I am trying to get some fall items made just in case I find a job I won't have to rush around trying to get items made to list in my shop(s). I did open a Bonanzle shop today. I've heard good things about the site and thought I would give it a try.
Not a whole lot new going on. My niece Emily, back in the Great State of Maine graduated from the 8th grade this week and goes on to High School in the fall. Kudos to you Emmy, great job!!! Her Dad is throwing her a party this weekend but unfortunately I am 3000 miles so I won't be attending. Have fun everyone and I will be thinking about you. Someday when I hit the lottery I'll come back and visit. LOL
I have to go see Hubby off to work. I promise I will come back and update more often hopefully with more interesting stories. LOL

Here is another of my newer additions that a lot of people seem to like. A set of two coffee cozies. I make these in many different colors and many different types of yarn.

This is just one of the many sets of cotton dishcloths I have made. They seem to be a favorite for a lot of people. My mother taught me to make these when I was just a kid and I couldn't begin to tell you how many I have made over the years. LOL
